No, our data plans do not allow phone calls. We chose this option for security reasons. This way, we ensure that no stranger can contact the watch, and that the child can't accidentally call a stranger!

The watch can remain "stand by" for almost a week. In normal use, you need to recharge the watch approximately every 2 days.

Thanks to the SeTracker2 app, you can communicate with your child in two ways:

1. Two-way voice messages (All our plans support this)

2.Audio-video chat, similar to Facetime (The Maxi plan is required)

The accuracy of GPS positioning is very high. However, it is first necessary that
the watch can pick up GPS signals. In some situations, signals may be too weak to be received (area with poor coverage or commercial building, for example). In order to be able to obtain a positioning despite this fact, the watch captures WiFi signals and positions them according to available public databases. However, these databases may be erroneous, which is neither Safekid.ca nor the effectiveness of the watch. You might receive a WiFi location several km from the actual location, if the database contains an error. This is a security compromise, allowing positioning even without GPS signals.

Generation 5 has one of the highest GPS power on the market of this type
of watch. In order to promote GPS positioning, when possible, we suggest closing the watch's Wifi: settings - Wifi - deactivate - lower the screen and click on "search settings" - make sure that both functions are deactivated. This will increase GPS positioning but only if signals allow it.
