The three location technologies used are

1. GPS Satellite Approximate accuracy: 5 to 15 m

IMPORTANT DETAILS

GPS positioning is very accurate but requires access to four GPS satellites for triangulation, which is generally possible outdoors. To enable positioning even in areas with weak GPS coverage, the watch is equipped with a Wi-Fi sensor.

During Wi-Fi positioning, the databases of major providers are used to geographically locate the captured Wi-Fi information. These databases can be inaccurate, which can result in an incorrect location.

It's important to know that all GPS positioning technologies of this type face this limitation . Wi-Fi connectivity is a security feature that allows the device to be located when the GPS signal is weak (for example, inside a building). Such a false location doesn't indicate a problem with the watch itself , but rather reflects the potential inaccuracy of the databases.

Refund terms:

After submitting a refund request, a shipping label will be emailed to you. You must return all accessories, including the box, in perfect condition. Upon receipt of the equipment, Safekid.ca will refund your initial purchase price, minus shipping costs (approximately $15 for shipping and $15 for return shipping). A $15 handling fee will also be deducted from the refund. Please note that the first month's subscription is non-refundable due to setup fees.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancellations will take effect immediately and will not be renewed on the scheduled date, whether for monthly or annual subscriptions. Safekid.ca recommends requesting cancellation at the end of the current billing period.

Guarantee

Each product we offer comes with a 6 months limited manufacturer's warranty from the date of receipt of your purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another owner of the watch. If, following a warranty claim, an item is replaced, the original warranty remains in effect without any extension.

This warranty focuses on defects related to electronic components. It does not cover damage due to daily use, incidents, improper handling, to exposure to water or any other deterioration not related to a defect in manufacturing. Although our watches and GPS trackers are water-resistant, they are not not completely waterproof. Avoid prolonged immersion to prevent malfunctions. Incidents such as damaged screens or components of the damaged or lost bracelets are not covered.

When a warranty claim is submitted, Safekid.ca reserves the right to choose between repair or replacement with a similar product if the original product is no longer in stock. We evaluate each claim individually and decide whether to approve or reject it. Shipping costs for examination, repair, or exchange are the responsibility of the customer. To activate the warranty, it is imperative that you contact us, provide proof of purchase if requested, and follow the return steps that will be indicated to you.

IMPORTANT: GPS watches and GPS trackers should in no way replace adult supervision for any person.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure, before purchasing, that the locations where they intend to use the GPS device are covered by a cellular network compatible with the device's specifications and that the signal is strong enough to ensure proper operation.
